Numero di serie Selmer 80 Super Action

Ciao a tutti
Non sapevo dove scrivere e ho scritto qui e mi scuso se ho sbagliato posto, i moderatori eventualmente sapranno dove spostarlo. Controllando il numero di serie del mio tenore Selmer 80 super action #323218 ho scoperto che rientra nella lista del modello 70, qualcuno sa qualcosa di più ed il motivo di ciò?

si effettivamente il nr di serie del Tuo sax rientra nei modelli Mark VII. Secondo quanto riportato su http://www.saxpics.com , a seguito del "fallimento" del Mark VII, i primissimi Super Action 80 sono stati allestiti con i fusti del Mark VI

Selmer finally had to turn around in the early 80's, because they were facing way too much competition from Yamaha and other companies. So, they came out with a better saxophone: the Super 80.

These horns were produced in three series, with the series II and III being produced still, along with a couple subsets (e.g. the "Jubilee", etc.)

The series I horns were OK. Unfortunately, Yamaha's Custom models and Yanagisawas offerings were much better copies of the Mark VI than Selmer's S80's -- and they were cheaper, too. The II's and III's definitely much better and more "VI-like", but the "damage" (such as it is) to the Selmer name caused by the VII debacle has solidified the market for used VI's and new Yamahas and Yanagisawas.

There are lots of mechanical innovations in the S80 series -- the most obvious is probably the detachable neck for the S80III sopranos (directly from the influence of Yamaha). The Harmonic horns have significant neck modifications and harken back to the days of the Buffet-Powell horns.

Sempre su http://www.saxpics.com nel reparto selmer dice che il primo SA80 è il numero 315500 quindi il tuo è nettamente un SA80.
Anche io ho avuto lo stesso problema con il mio SA80 che ha il numero di matricola 332611 e su alcune tabelle risultava essere un MK7. Molte tabelle sul net sono sbagliate!!

Grazie binisax purtroppo il sito che hai linkato non funziona, mi confermi che il fusto è quello del mark VI? o per errore di trascrizione era un mark VII?
