Ieri ho rifatto il test con l'Absolute "Classic" 9* per baritono... su un sax baritono moderno, discendente al La grave (un Sequoia Booster, penultima serie), quindi strumento più "comune" del Conn 12M: posso confermare quanto scritto.
Ho avuto modo anche di effettuare prove con ance differenti (comprese ance sintetiche) e legature differenti... e posso dire che strumenti "moderni" questo bocchino Absolute "Classic" 9* per sax baritono... è più versatile rispetto a un utilizzo su uno strumento con le caratteristiche del Conn 12M, strumento comunque scuro per sua natura e che necessita di una certa dose di brillantezza per sviluppare maggiore definizione. :zizizi))

sul mio sito è presente la nuova serie di imboccature in resina per tenore che oltre ad un suono molto bello, vengono offerte ad un prezzo estremamente vantaggioso.
A breve ci saranno anche alcuni sample....
Stiamo lavorando agli altri tagli ed in particolare ad alcune imboccature per sax basso, grazie anche alla preziosa collaborazione con un utente del forum che abita dalle nostre parti. :ghigno:

Aggiorno per confermare che ho caricato alcuni sample audio, sul mio sito, relativi alla serie classic alluminio, che non c'erano ancora, ed al classic resina per tenore.
Come sempre sono solo dei semplici esempi che servono esclusivamente a fare sentire il suono delle varie imboccature.

Il modello "Plus" per alto, tenore e baritono mantengono le stesse proporzioni (... praticamente) e quindi le stesse caratteristiche (stessa cosa per l' "ST"... per alto, tenore e baritono).
È una buona alternativa ai Dukoff D, Guardala, Vandoren Jumbo Java, per alto. :zizizi))
Il modello "ST" per alto invece ha un suono meno brillante (esattamente come succede per gli esemplari per tenore e baritono).
Sul soprano invece il modello "Plus" (per soprano) ha proporzioni simili al modello "ST" (per alto, tenore e baritono): quindi il "Plus" per soprano è un bocchino meno brillante/potente rispetto ai cugini "Plus", per alto, tenore e baritono. È stato pensato così perchè altrimenti sarebbe poco gestibile.
Il modello "ST" per soprano invece ha proporzioni diverse e risulta più scuro (dei cugini "ST" per alto, tenore e baritono)

Ciao, confermo che il modello plus per alto riproduce sostanzialmente la resa del plus per tenore.
E' un bocchino facilmente gestibile ma un po' estremo, decisamente consigliato per sonorità "moderne" con un volume pazzesco.
Lo st ha un volume meno esplosivo ma uno spettro armonico più ampio.
La scelta dipende molto dal tipo di sonorità che si vuole ottenere e dal contesto musicale in quanto, se si suona microfonati, non sarà più il volume a fare la differenza ma tutte le altre particolarità del bocchino. :ghigno: :ghigno:

Grazie per aver dato importanza al mio quesito...Sto per revisionare il mio vecchio sax alto,e sto investigando sul panorama becchi"estremi",perché sull'Alto quello è il suono che cerco...questo prodotto è accattivante,e credo che sarà la mia prima scelta appena riavro' lo strumento fra le mani...

Il "Classic" (in resina) per sax contralto riprende le stesse caratteristiche del fratello in alluminio.
Lo "Slim" (in resina) per sax baritono invece è un bocchino completamente nuovo, se guardate le foto capite "tutto". :-leggi-:

Absolute Aluminum Soprano Mouthpiece Review
Today I’m writing a review of the Italian made Absolute Aluminum Soprano Saxophone mouthpiece, 8 opening (0.70). I’ve played this mouthpiece on three different days for a total of about three hours. Here is my initial impression:
Construction
This soprano mouthpiece is made of anodized aluminum and produced on CNC machines with hand finishing. The tip, rails, chamber and table look very nice. The chamber has an oval shape with more material in the floor than near the table. There seems to be a slight squeeze to the throat.
Unlike many metal mouthpieces, this on has a very similar body shape to many hard rubber mouthpieces. This is a big plus as I find it difficult to play a really small mouthpiece on soprano. I found I could use most of my soprano ligatures on it (BG revelation, Vandoren Optimum, Harrison). The mouthpiece came with a plastic ring ligature but I’m not a big fan of these.
Tone
I’d describe the tone as somewhat spread but not as much as a large chamber mouthpiece. I can get a fairly dark tone (for soprano) but can brighten it up by changing my throat and air stream. Not as bright as my Selmer S80 or Meyer 6 but not as dark as my Drake Son of Slant. Overall, the tone is rather meaty and dense: closer to that double reed sound that can be achieved on soprano.
Response
I can articulate pretty easily on this mouthpiece. That leads me to believe it has a good facing curve. It took me a little while to find a good matching reed (Gonzalez 2.5) but once I did the response was fine.
Volume
This is not a piece that will wail across an R&B band but more at home in a combo setting.
Overall
I think this mouthpiece has a more complex sound than many soprano mouthpieces I have tried. I think you could use it in a concert band, combo, or a jazz band section. I’m going to keep exploring this mouthpiece and will update this review, if needed. If there's enough interest, I can probably put up a sound clip in the next week or so.

Il bocchino in metallo del demo è il modello ST immagino ... giusto?
