Cioè, sono degli Ottolink Tone Edge normalissimi (non i New Vintage) che hanno subito un refacing: punto!

Si riconosce che è un ToneEdge normale (poi sistemato) perchè la greca ha il disegno della greca è quello ToneEdge normali; il New Vintage ha sempre una greca ma a maglie più larghe.

Come ben saprai visto che hai e stai vendendo un Tone Edge New Vintage, la camera del Tone Edge New Vintage rispetto ai "normali" è che lo scivolo è diverso.
A questo punto Doc Tenney sostiene che i suoi Tone Edge (che hanno subito solo un refacing) siano come i vecchi Slant. Per aver la stessa camera dello Slant su un Tone Edge normale sarebbe da aggiungere un po' di materiale in fondo allo scivolo, cosa che non mi sembra che venga fatta.
Concettualmente, anche un STM moderno ha meno materiale nella camera di un Florida: il volume fisico della camera di un Florida è inferiore al volume della camera di un STM moderno... non sto parlando di scalini&co. ma mi riferisco alla conformazione interna (anche un Selmer S80 internamente è più piccolo di un ToneEdge).
L'operazione di Florida-zione (che potrebbe essere simile per convertire un Tone Edge in un Tone Edge Slant) è più o meno questa .

Secondo me, puoi tranquillamente vendere al tuo amico il tuo New Slant sistemato da Bucci, sicuramente funziona meglio di un Doc Tenney (che costa 350 dollari = 242 euro, nuovo). :zizizi))

Tralasciando il fatto che io sono sempre dell'idea che nel nostro ambito "toccare con mano" (o meglio con labbro) è sempre la cosa migliore da fare, riporto quanto scritto nella pagina relativa agli Otto Link "Tenney" su SaxQuest.com:
