dubbio amletico:yamaha 475 o jupiter 2089?

ho bisogno di un secondo tenore di fascia intermedia: allo stesso prezzo posso scegliere tra un 475 e uno jupiter 2089, entrambi praticamente nuovi
attendo pareri :BHO:

Tra i 2 sceglierei sicuramente lo Yamaha per la sua robustezza...

Guardando allargando la scelta, probabilmente terrei in considerazione anche un Grassi TS460 (Jazzy Line) e un Trevor James Revolution II (magari laccato nero).

anche io la pensavo così, ma tali autorevoli pareri mi hanno per così dire fatto pensare...
io pure pensavo che il 2089 fosse in qualche modo assimilabile al 62, non al 475 :BHO:

Lo Jupiter in oggetto sarÃ* anche professionale... ma la meccanica Jupiter in confronto a quella degli Yamaha è "di burro".
Se ci basiamo a quello che è scritto sulla carta anche Grassi Jazzy Line e TJ Revolution II sono strumenti professionali, basta mettersi d'accordo sul significato della parola "professionale".

Su Yamaha non si discute, ma Jupiter, giÃ* l'ho detto in passato, Fa strumenti musicali da molti anni
Peraltro ha prodotto in passato anche strumenti per Yamaha e Keilwerth.......ha 3 linee la base fatta in China, i semi ed i pro a Taiwan.........
Personalmente ho avuto, per sfizio un soprano della serie 800 quelli in argento con due colli, dava una pista in fatto di qualitÃ* costruttiva e timbro allo Yamaha ......ecco la storia

KHS was first founded with the Wan Wu name in Taiwan in 1930 by Tsu-Cheng Hsieh as an educational products company and was renamed to KHS in 1945. KHS stands for Kung Hsue She which means a company helping schools and culture. KHS started harmonica production in 1956 and started band instrument production a year later in 1957. By 1980 KHS was a full-scale musical instrument manufacturer and the Jupiter brand was started to market a complete line of wind instruments and percussion. Jupiter is currently one of the top ten musical instrument brands in the world. In 1985 KHS established the Musix company and KHS acquired Altus flutes in 1990, Ross Mallet Instruments in 1994 and Hohner/Sonor percussion in 1997. Altus flute employees and specialists from Japan worked as KHS technical advisors.

In 1986 KHS transferred most of its production from its small factory in greater Taipei to a major complex in nearby Chung-Li. In 1993 KHS started building a factory near Tianjin China for the main purpose of entering the Chinese market. In 1996 the KHS Chinese factory began producing instruments and instrument parts and since 1996 some lower priced Jupiter instruments have been totally made in China and some mid priced Jupiter instruments have been assembled in Taiwan from parts made at the Tianjin China factory and some higher priced Jupiter instruments have been totally made at the Knoling factory in Taiwan. The Jupiter 500 series are totally made in China and the Jupiter 700 series are assembled in Taiwan.

The main KHS manufacturing facility at Chung-Li Taiwan, is spread over a 55 acre industrial complex, featuring a 300,000 square foot band instrument and drum factory and the KHS manufacturing facility at Tianjin China, is spread over a 30-acre site. Imported European components are often used and most raw materials are imported from Japan. Clarinet and saxophone mouthpieces are imported from ESM in Germany and the pearl shell used for keys is also imported from Germany. Pads, springs, felt and natural cork are imported from Italy and synthetic cork is imported from France. The brass and silver plates used for the instruments bodies are imported from Japan as are the knock pins and natural cork.

The hand tools used to fashion the musical instrument parts are from Switzerland and the USA and the cnc machines are from Japan. The lacquer used is imported from Britain and the USA and the soldering powder is imported from Canada. All of the KHS manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and China are ISO 9001 certified. KHS has also made musical instruments for other companies such as Buffet Crampon (Evette), Vito and Keilwerth ST-90 series IV saxophones, B&S trumpets and Courtois cornets. KHS has also made Olds, Blessing, Riley, Mirage and Arbiter Jazz saxophones.

Jupiter io lo uso saltuariamente e' non mi ha mai dato problemi.Per me e' un buon strumento.

il significato della parola "professionale"?

presto detto: ovviamente qui non si tratta di paragonare uno strumento jupiter da 1400 euro con un selmer o con uno yamaha custom, ma si vuole capite se uno strumento da 1400 euro, definito professionale perchè top della gamma di un costruttore di secondo livello può competere con uno strumento yamaha che normalmente viene venduto a 1700 euro (475) o 2300 euro (62), anche considerando sia la differenza legata al nome (yamaha, appunto), sia il fatto che la stessa yamaha ha di recente aumentato il proprio listino di circa il 25% (ingiustificatamente, a detta di molti) ;)

secondo me non così come esposto da Rena, ovvero in termini meramente commerciali.
Il termine professionale sta, nell'impiego di tutti quegli elementi e tecniche produttive che caratterizzano un sax professionale.
Sta nell'uso di materiali di prima qualitÃ*, dagli aghi in acciaio ai tamponi pro, ai meccanismi, alle viti in acciao etc. ovvvero la meccanica del sax, nell'uso di brass di prima qualitÃ*, nel processo produttivo del fusto del sax e del collo (Hand-Hammered e Ribbed construction).
questo caratterizza la costruzione di un sax pro, il risultato: ottima intonazione, facilitÃ* di emissione, timbro, ergonomicitÃ*, resistenza alle sollecitazioni meccaniche a cui è sottoposto un sax!!!!!
